Important notes about caseloads:
- Caseload Names are optional. If not filled, we will display the counselor's name as the caseload.
- Caseload Category allows you to designate the kind of grouping such as "caseload", "section" or "advisory group".
- Grouping names are never shown to students, but the staff members that are assigned to the groupings show up in students “My Team” section on their dashboard
- Appropriately permissioned School Staff users can create and edit Caseloads on the SchooLinks platform, but If you sync caseloads in an automated way through the SFTP Server, caseload management functionality will be disabled(for theses caseloads created from SFTP, caseloads created from UI will still be able to be edited) in the SchooLinks Platform. This is to avoid confusion about the source of these caseloads
Filename: /automated/caseloads.csv
Inclusion criteria: Any mapping of students to school staff users that you want to user for student-access determination or filtering.
- This schema is only to be used when you're mapping from School Staff to Students, NOT simply grouping students.
- Students and school staff can appear multiple times in the file
- a student row should appear for each caseload a student is assigned to
- a combination of student and school staff email can appear in multiple rows if the student is being assigned to multiple caseloads (with different names) of the same school staff member
Minimum Upload Frequency: Nightly
Update logic:
- The entire file must be passed each time, the process for updating has the effect of removing all relationships and re-creating them with each sync if the source is the same.
- If needing to sync counselor caseloads separately from teacher sections for example, the must come from different sources. You cannot send these
