With the SchooLinks nightly data sync with Clever, we have the ability to pull many different data types and not just the data used to provision accounts. Here is a complete list and reference for all Data Sets that we can pull from Clever if that data exists in Clever through your district’s SIS → Clever integration:
School data is used to create records for the different schools or building within your district. This data type is a requirement to sync other data types like Student and Staff Accounts to your district, and there is no additional configuration needed to allow us to sync this data type.
Syncing this data type from Clever removes the need for a district to provide a schools.csv
data file, since this data will come from Clever. However, you can reference the schema for that file to get a sense of the type of data we can load for School entities:
The School records in Clever that are shared with SchooLinks will be synced, and optionally Clever gives us the ability to filter additional schools from the sync if needed.
Student Accounts in SchooLinks can be created using the data we receive from Clever Student
