<aside> 💡 Regardless of the SIS, if a district uses Clever or ClassLink for student and/or staff rostering, we can connect and sync to those softwares to provision accounts in SchooLinks.

If the SIS is OneRoster API compliant (We do not currently support OneRoster CSV), then we can also use that API to roster and provision student and staff accounts.

Aeries

✅ OneRoster API Sync works with SchooLinks

Hosting: On-premises or hosted by Aeries

Extraction Methods:

• CCGI Extract - This is an extraction tool within the UI of Aeries that can be used to produce data. It is unknown if any SchooLinks districts use this for any live data files.
• If the database listed location on-premises, districts should have the ability to connect to the database and run SQL Queries against the data to produce their files.

Other Notes:

• Every new School Year is a new Aeries Database. If for some reason data is 1 year old, their processes may be pointed at last year’s database.

Ascender

Hosting: Typically hosted by the district’s regional Education Service Center (ESC).

Extraction Method:

• TxTracts - Export tool available either in Ascender directly or through the ESC. Exports are produced from templates that are used across all Ascender District’s and have minimal customization options.

Blackbaud

Hosting: On-premises or hosted by Blackbaud (sometimes referred to as Whipple Hill)

Extraction Methods:

• **Export Module** - UI tool that helps extract records into a file. Has not been used by a SchooLinks customer to our knowledge.
