Overview

Within the Scope and Sequence Analytics area of SchooLinks, your district can track and get a sense of your student’s College and Career Readiness progress made in SchooLinks through indicators. Indicators can be tracked at the District or School Level as well as being filtered down by student grade level, student tags, and staff rosters (caseloads). This document is intended to highlight the recommended use-cases for Staff Roster filtering, how to request this type of filtering, and what to expect during the setup process.

Recommended Use Cases

By default, SchooLinks does not enable the Staff Rosters filtering for a few reasons. The first being that depending on the number of Staff Rosters that are configured within your district’s SchooLinks environment, there could be a large delay for end users trying to view all of this data in Scope and Sequence Analytics. The more data you have for Staff Rosters, the longer the wait would be to load those rosters and apply filtering to them.

The next reason is that for districts with teacher classes or sections loaded as a Staff Roster, there may not be a need for all of these sections to be included in the analytics page and those sections can be too much information and overwhelm the end-users when they are searching for specific staff rosters.

We recommend that you gain understanding of which Staff Rosters that your district will get the most value for including in the analytics page. Some examples that other districts have setup before are Staff Rosters like:
