Purpose | Indicates which school a student will be planning courses for in Course Planner. |
---|---|
Filename | student_plan_schools.csv |
What to Include | Either the planned school for all students, or just students who will be planning for a school other than their current school (examples: 5th grader who will plan for a middle school, or 8th grader who will plan for a high school). |
What to Exclude | If feeder patterns have been configured, you may exclude any students who will be planning for the school assigned by their feeder pattern. |
Minimum Upload Frequency | Once per course planning period (typically once per year), prior to testing or opening course planning to students or staff. |
Recommended Upload Frequency | Nightly to ensure that any changes to students’ planned schools in your SIS are updated in SchooLinks. |
Partial Data | Partial data is supported. Only students included in the file will be updated. Students not included in the file will remain unchanged. |
Choose the template that matches how you intend to pass student identifiers and school identifiers. If you are unsure which identifiers to use, check the Example Identifiers tab in the Data Upload tool on SchooLinks to see which identifiers have data loaded that match what you’ll be exporting.
